MealtimeWorks

MealtimeWorks is our play-based feeding program that helps children improve their diet through exploring foods in a fun and meaningful way. We explore textures, smells, visual variations of foods, and more so your child will eat a variety of foods.

This is an intensive therapy program that uses a strengths-based model that combines DIR/Floortime, SOS Feeding, and sensory integration for children with Autism, ADHD, and other developmental disabilities.

Feeding can be stressful.. we make it fun!

What to Expect:

  1. First we will have you complete our intake form - click here to access our online form

  2. We always start with a comprehensive evaluation.

    • Our comprehensive evaluation assesses 5 developmental areas: a sensory-based assessment, play-based assessment, social emotional assessment, motor-based assessment, and activities of daily living assessment. This helps us develop a holistic treatment plan that will address the root of your child's challenges.

    • This occurs over two sessions. The first session includes the child, parent(s)/caregiver(s), and therapist. The second session includes the therapist and parent(s)/caregiver(s).

    • If you have had any of the following evaluation within the past year (OT, DIRFloortime, or Feeding), then we may be able to use your previous evaluations to build our treatment plan for a reduced cost.

  3. Once the evaluation has been completed, we will discuss our recommendations and services can start! Our sessions range from are 30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the needs of your child.

  4. One of our staff will contact you to schedule your appointment.

  5. Caregivers receive a 15-minute phone consultation on a weekly basis, or as needed, to discuss treatment, progress, home-related concerns, school-related concerns, etc. We look forward to collaborating with your family!!
